Now in it's second year, the 2011 Gig Harbor Wine & Food Festival will take place Saturday, August 6, 2011. Presented by the Harbor History Museum and the Gig Harbor Historic Waterfront Association, The Wine and Food Festival offers a wide selection of wine seminars, cooking demonstrations and more, in a breathtaking waterfront setting.

The Gig Harbor Yacht Club has been promoting and sponsoring safe family boating since 1957. Chosen as one of the Top 50 Yacht Clubs by Yachting.com, the club and it's members are a big part of the South Sound boating scene.
Zoobilee is the premiere fundraising event of the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium’s Zoological Society. An evening of fun, food and giving, aides in helping The Zoo Society foster the relationship between Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium and our community.

Dining with the Stars Celebrity Chef Gala
Our first time and this unique fundraiser for the Cheney Family Boys & Girls Club and Active Retirement and Senior Club of Gig Harbor. It will be bigger and better than ever (not just because we are there) and will feature local celebrity chefs who will present signature dishes for the event. 300 guests will be served in style and entertained by 30 leaders in the community who will transform themselves into a favorite movie persona. The goal is to raise $50,000 at this event on October 15, 2011
We have been stocking away the good candy, waiting for this day! We join other downtown merchants passing out candy to all the little ghosts and goblins.

Charitable Donations At Brix 25°, we strive to support local nonprofit organizations and causes. In particular we focus our giving on groups operating within Gig Harbor/Tacoma area. We evaluate applications based on the following guidelines:
The application must be received at least 8 weeks before the “pick up” date in order to be considered. Because our Donations Budget is limited, early submission of your application is recommended.
We do not donate to individuals, individuals seeking pledges, multiple requests from the same organization or organizations and/or causes outside of the area. Past support of an organization or an event is not a guarantee of future support.
